We recognize that sometimes organizations change their minds about a fundraising project and would like to cancel their campaign. Should you and your team decide to do this, here's what you need to know:

  1. Please contact your Support Specialist and inform them of your decision.

  2. If your campaign has received any pledges, we will set your campaign to end that day at 00:00 UTC on the following day.

  3. Any donors who have pledged to your project will receive an email from StartSomeGood confirming that the project they supported failed to reach its funding goals, and their accounts will not be charged.

  4. We are unable to permanently delete accounts associated with campaigns that have launched.

If your campaign does not have any pledges, we can unapprove your campaign and pull it from public view at your request. At this time, should you and your team decide that you want to try again, you can choose to make any edits to your campaign draft and relaunch.
